[07/21/2014] – 10th Annual Neighborhood Summit
The Neighborhood Summit is a FREE public event done in partnership with the El Paso Neighborhood Coalition (EPNC) and the City's Neighborhood Services Division to bring you current material that affects your neighborhoods and the El Paso community through guest speakers, educational workshops and an information fair with vendors from various City departments and local organizations.

City of El Paso Environmental Services Division – Earth Day Event on April 5th

April is Earth Month and the City of El Paso is celebrating with a series of events during the entire month!

City Departments along with their partners are teaming up to provide information and education on how to help preserve natural resources.

Kick off celebrations begin April 5th with ESD's Earth Day Celebration.

GREEN FUN: Kick off Earth Month with ESD’s Earth Day Celebration, sponsored by the City Environmental Services Department. Enjoy a day of fun, food, and education, including booths, live demonstrations and games promoting the preservation of our planet.

  • Bring 25 plastic bags to recycle and receive a FREE reusable bag while supplies last.
  • Free document shredding will also be available.

[07/25/2013] – EPWU announces summer sandbag distribution schedule 

Customers who use sandbags for flood control during the summer monsoon season can obtain them at five locations beginning Saturday, June 15. EPWU does not charge for sandbags, but the quantity is limited to 15 bags per visit. Persons who cannot lift heavy items are encouraged to come with someone who can assist with loading and unloading the bags.
