CHALLENGE FOR PAUL ALBRIGHTS'S GOAL TO RAISE FUNDS - CREATED BY MS SUSAN MARTINEZ, PRESIDENT, ZACH WHITE N.A.
There are over 80 neighborhood associations.  If 20 members from each association donate $20.00 to the fund for the 82nd Airborne (80 neighborhood associations x 20 members each x $20 per person) = $32,000.

I will send my $ 20 and I challenge each neighborhood association member to donate $20 to this worthy cause..

MESSAGE FROM PAUL ALBRIGHT CSM (RET), OFFICE OF VETERAN & MILITARY AFFAIRS
Hello Veterans,The El Paso Veterans of the 82nd Airborne Association are asking for assistance.  As many of you may know, the Chapter parking lot was destroyed by flood waters in August of 2021.  El Paso experienced a 100 year storm and storm water runoff from was immense. The enormous amount of water lifted the pavement and left rocks and debris everywhere.  A bulldozer was needed to clear out the front of the building.  The inside of the building was flooded and mud was everywhere.  Volunteers worked to remove the mud and return the headquarters back to normal.  The work was demanding and tiresome.  The day we completed the work Chairman John Ceballos checked into the hospital because he was not feeling well.  2 weeks later he died of COVID. They have been working diligently to raise the funds needed to rebuild the lot and return the organization to glory.  They now have the completed constructions plans and are ready to begin paving, however, the cost has doubled since they started this process. The current cost estimate is $58,000.  They have raised only $21,000 and have a long way to go. There are 2 methods for you to help out:M1 Garand Raffle - Raffle tickets for a fully functional M1 are on sell right now for $20 a ticket.  They have 500 Tickets to sell.  The Raffle will be on March 18th 2023.  Please see the flyer linked below. They have created a new GoFundMe page.  Click on the link here: https://gofund.me/af4803cf
