Every year, EPNC Backpack drive has grown by hundreds  This could not be possible without your support and cheers!

There are many people who collaborated to make a great start to school for many of OUR neighborhood children.

The Downtown Deck Plaza Foundation and the City of El Paso invite the public to an open house community meeting to learn about the findings of the Phase I Feasibility Study for the Deck Plaza over I-10 in the Downtown Corridor.

TAX ASSESSOR'S OFFICE - CHANGES TO VEHICLE SAFETY INSPECTION REQUIREMENTS AND NEW ENHANCED LIBRARY CARD PROGRAM
  • Beginning January 1, 2025, vehicle owners will no longer be required to obtain a safety inspection to register a noncommercial vehicle.
  • On June 24, 2024, El Paso county and the City of El Paso initiated a new enhanced library card program. One of the purposes of the “library card” is to supplement the identification of the person and proof of residence for any type of services provided within these two local government entities.

Series of Workshops for Envision El Paso Start July 10
El Paso residents have more opportunities to tell the City of El Paso about their priorities, concerns, and aspirations for the community.
Beginning this month, the City of El Paso Capital Improvement Department is hosting neighborhood workshops to engage residents and bring awareness to the City’s efforts to update the 2012 comprehensive plan.

CITY OF EL PASO ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR NEIGHBORHOOD IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (NIP)
EXTENDED DEADLINE:
FRIDAY,  AUGUST 23, 2024

The City of El Paso Department of Community and Human Development invites recognized Neighborhood Associations and Civic Associations to apply for the Neighborhood Improvement Program (NIP) aimed at enhancing neighborhoods in the community.The NIP provides the opportunity for the associations to compete for funding for small-scale permanent physical improvement projects that make a big difference within their neighborhoods.The City Council allocated $5 million to the NIP to be equally distributed among the City’s eight districts. Each district will receive $625,000 for NIP projects. Projects are competitively selected from the neighborhood and civic association submissions within the same District.
